However, it definitely needs an explanation because that succinct wording should read - 100% fine new merino wool. Why is this important? Firstly, it is the new wool that is able to absorb up to 30% of moisture from its own weight, so it not only keeps you warm but also regulates the microclimate. Even after absorbing this percentage of moisture, it remains dry and comfortable to the touch, and still keeps you warm. And when the room air is too dry, it begins to give this moisture into the space and thus provides optimal humidity, comfortable for the skin and respiratory organs. Secondly, the wool of merino sheep is both fine and strong, which allows you to create extremely thin and at the same time strong, durable products.
